Autonomy is part of the DNA. of our movement. The Free Party was notably built around this principle. we created our party places by refusing conventional networks, we invented our way of communicating, we created our own sounds, our own records and our own networks to broadcast them.

The "Do It Yourself" has always been our leitmotif to all.

Today, thirty years after these beginnings, the movement has evolved. Despite attempts at co-opting, institutionalization and commodification, the Free Party is still subversive and independent.

But vigilance is still required.
Faced with repression or commodification, networks are constantly being structured and reinvented. The resistance is more active than ever!

For the distribution of our records, we have also organized ourselves. When a composer creates his label and his distribution network, it is for more autonomy. Quite the opposite of a distributor who multiplies the labels for more profit.

This record is also there to remind us that we are and will always remain independent and autonomous.
